I founded Birmingham Alabama's own Steel City Quartet in 1999 and we sang our first concert in January 2000. The 12 year journey with Steel City brought my family and I many happy memories as we were truly blessed to share our music with so many people. We recorded a total of 10 projects during the 12 years and enjoyed a good reputation as a quality quartet. In August 2011 I made the decision to disband the quartet after a serious medical problem with my daughter and the added stress of my traveling extensively for my "real" job. I honestly just didn't have the strength to carry on. After some time off from singing, I got a call from my dear friend of more than 23 years, Mr. Buck Smith (of the Royal Masters Quartet) Buck asked me to sing bass for his Royal Masters. I accepted the position and sincerely enjoyed the last 2 years singing with Buck Tommy and Steve. A few months ago Buck suffered a stroke and has had substantial physical problems which have left him unable to travel or sing like before. He decided to retire the Royal Masters effective 12-31-14. Buck has also encouraged me to keep singing and to put Steel City back together.  As it turns out, God knew exactly what He was doing as His plans for me were to enjoy being with Mr. Buck at the close of his singing career. I am so glad I had the privilege of singing with Buck again and spending the time I had with such a precious dear friend. What a tremendous blessing it has been. So, here I am, auditioning singers and  already taking bookings and loving the deep settled peace of knowing I am doing what God created me to do, sing for Him.

Please check back here for personnel announcements, pictures, music and concert dates. I am thrilled about what God is doing in bringing such quality singers my way.
